Service Agreement & Professional Terms
Welcome to Allen Rapid Plumbing ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website, requesting emergency dispatch, or utilizing our residential plumbing services in Allen, TX, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please review these terms carefully before scheduling service.
1. Scope of Plumbing Services
Allen Rapid Plumbing provides licensed emergency plumbing, diagnostic inspection, and repair services for residential properties located within the City of Allen, Texas (ZIP codes 75002 and 75013). All plumbing work is executed by licensed technicians under the regulatory standards of the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).
2. 24/7 Emergency Dispatch & Response Times
We provide 24/7 emergency dispatch from our local center at 203 W Main St. While our target emergency arrival time is 30 minutes, response times may vary due to severe weather conditions, road closures, municipal emergency declarations, or high dispatch volume. In life-threatening emergencies or severe natural gas leaks, customers must immediately evacuate and dial 911 or Atmos Energy prior to contacting our dispatch center.
3. Upfront Pricing & Written Estimates
We operate on a transparent, flat-rate pricing model:
- On-Site Assessment: Prior to beginning any repair, our master plumber performs an on-site physical evaluation and provides a written estimate detailing labor, materials, and municipal permit fees.
- Customer Authorization: No mechanical repairs or physical alterations will commence without express customer authorization of the written estimate.
- Zero Hidden Surcharges: We do not impose unexpected overtime multipliers or travel charges once a written estimate has been accepted.
4. Payment Terms & Invoicing
Payment is due upon completion of services rendered unless prior written commercial financing arrangements have been approved. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and verified electronic payments. Itemized invoices formatted for homeowner insurance claim processing are provided upon job completion.
5. Workmanship Warranty & Guarantees
All completed repairs are backed by our written workmanship warranty:
- Repairs & Replacements: Workmanship is guaranteed against defects for the period specified in your written service invoice (typically 1 to 5 years depending on repair type).
- Manufacturer Warranties: Water heaters, Uponor PEX-a piping, fixture cartridges, and garbage disposal units carry independent manufacturer warranties. We assist homeowners in registering and processing warranty claims.
- Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage resulting from pre-existing structural foundation shifts, improper third-party modifications, extreme freeze events where winterization guidelines were neglected, or foreign object clogs introduced post-repair.
6. Access & Safe Working Conditions
The customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the property's plumbing fixtures, water meter, main shutoff valve, cleanouts, and relevant attic or crawl space areas. Technicians reserve the right to suspend work if hazardous electrical, biological, or structural conditions jeopardize safety.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings arising from our services shall be conducted in the courts of Collin County, Texas.
